The Beauty of Volleyball from an Offensive and Defensive Perspective

Abstract

Background Problems: Studies that discuss the elements of beauty are needed in volleyball games to add the latest scientific and insightful characteristics. given that science is dynamic. Research Objectives: The purpose of this research is to find out the beauty of the game of volleyball, which makes the desire or atmosphere of the game interesting. Methods: The research method is qualitative, which is to examine a phenomenon based on perception, observation, and interviews with informants. The approach used in this research is hermeneutics. Findings/Results: The study of the beauty of attacking situations is a strategy carried out by players to get points. The Beauty Study of Defensive Situations is a situation where players must do something to defend points so that the opposing team does not take them. Attacking can get points, but defensive situations can also produce points if the opposing team is frustrated with an impenetrable defense. Conclusion: That beauty in attacking is a strategy employed by players to score points, as players who frequently attack are able to earn points that can lead to a winning defense, which is a situation where the player must find ways to maintain those points so that they are not taken by the opposing team. Thus, it is hoped that this research can provide information about the beauty of attacking and defending game situations in volleyball matches. Further research is needed to improve this study.
